This site collects as little as possible. Here is exactly what happens with your data, in plain language.
Who is responsible
Juan Pazmino B, AI Consultant, based in Barcelona, Spain — the data controller for this website (juanpazminob.com). For anything related to your data, write to info@juanpazminob.com.
Contact form
If you send a message through the contact form, the data you volunteer (name, email, optional phone, and your message) is delivered to my inbox by Formspree, which acts as a processor. I use it for one purpose: reading your message and replying. It is never sold, shared for marketing, or added to any mailing list.
AI assistant
The chat widget on this site is an AI assistant (it says so, and it's true). When you use it, your messages are sent to Anthropic — the company behind Claude — which processes them in the United States as a sub-processor, under the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework and Standard Contractual Clauses. Anthropic does not train its models on this data.
The conversation itself is not stored anywhere by this site: it lives only in your browser tab and disappears when you close it. What I do keep is anonymous usage metrics — language, number of messages, whether a booking or contact link was clicked, and short topic labels for questions the assistant couldn't answer. Never the text of your conversation, and nothing that identifies you.
Your IP address is processed transiently to serve each request and to limit abuse; it is not stored in the metrics.
One practical note: the assistant is a pre-sales tool, not a confidant — there's no need to share personal details with it, and it's instructed not to ask for any.
Legal basis
Both the contact form and the AI assistant are processed on the basis of legitimate interest (Art. 6.1.f GDPR): answering the questions you choose to ask me. You decide what to type; nothing is collected passively.
Retention
Chat conversations: your browser session only. Contact form messages: kept in my inbox for as long as needed to handle your inquiry. Anonymous metrics: kept indefinitely — they contain no personal data.
Analytics
This site uses Vercel Analytics — cookieless, aggregated page statistics. No advertising trackers, no cross-site profiles, no cookie banner because there is nothing to consent to.
Third-party links
Booking a call takes you to Google Calendar's appointment page, governed by Google's own privacy policy. External links (LinkedIn, the Claude Code Digest) lead to sites with their own terms.
Your rights
Under the GDPR and the Spanish LOPDGDD you can request access, rectification, erasure, restriction, objection, or portability of your data at any time: info@juanpazminob.com. If you believe something is wrong, you also have the right to complain to the Spanish supervisory authority, the AEPD.
